1. Data We Do Not Collect

Unlike most web applications, Skinwich has no user accounts, no server-side database, and no login system. When you use the routine builder, ingredient decoder, or interaction checker, all processing happens in your browser.

We specifically do not collect:

• Your name or email address (unless you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter)
• Your skin type, concerns, or routine preferences
• Your ingredient searches or scan results
• Your purchase or browsing history on-site
• Your IP address for profiling purposes

2. Local Storage

Skinwich uses browser localStorage to persist your routine preferences and saved data between sessions. All keys are prefixed with skinwich_.

This data is stored entirely on your device. You can view, export, or delete it at any time through your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data in your browser settings. We have no access to it.

3. Google AdSense

Skinwich displays contextual advertising via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. 4. Newsletter (Voluntary)

If you subscribe to The Skinwich Edit newsletter, your email address is stored with our email service provider and used exclusively to send the newsletter. We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time via any newsletter email.

5. Purchases

Digital product purchases are processed by Flutterwave or Gumroad. We do not store payment card information. Your name and email used at checkout may be stored in our records solely to fulfil your order and provide customer support.

6. Affiliate Links

Some links on Skinwich may be affiliate links — if you click one and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate commissions do not influence our ingredient ratings, interaction data, or editorial content. All affiliate relationships are disclosed per FTC guidelines.

7. Analytics

At present, Skinwich does not use third-party analytics services. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and only use privacy-respecting, anonymous tools that do not track individuals or store personal data.

8. Children

Skinwich is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The last updated date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised. Continued use of Skinwich after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
